About Me

I am a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Wollongong, studying a Bachelor of Medical Biotechnology (Honours). I have always been fascinated by biology, a passion that began at a young age and was influenced by both my parents, who work in related scientific fields. My main goal is to pursue a career in an area focused on disease and diagnostics, such as pathology. I am particularly interested in understanding how biotechnology can be applied to improve human health through innovation in medical research and clinical testing. Through my studies, I hope to build a strong foundation that will allow me to contribute meaningfully to advancements in biomedical science.

My Career Skills

I believe the skills I’ve developed through BIOL342 and my degree studies — including building a professional network, identifying career opportunities, self-reflection, designing and conducting laboratory experiments, and strengthening my communication and teamwork abilities — will be invaluable in my future career. The knowledge and experience I have gained will enable me to contribute effectively and confidently within my chosen workplace
